For March we’re not picking books we look forward to reading, but books we already read and didn’t like or didn’t finish! We’ve gathered some books with the help of our book club members and made a great list of books that some of us just couldn’t get through.

We’re going to give one of these books a second try! This way we can talk about what we did and didn’t like and maybe learn to appreciate it a little better if someone else does like it. We’re hoping to learn here, so keep that in mind before the book-bashing begins!

Underneath the poll we have details on the books and their average Goodreads rating, just to show us that many other people do love them. You can vote on three books and write-in’s are allowed, but will be moderated if necessary.

*update*
I have been a dummy. I forgot to add Simone’s pick Only Ever Yours, so it got a couple of extra votes to even things out!

Juliette hasn’t touched anyone in exactly 264 days.

The last time she did, it was an accident, but The Reestablishment locked her up for murder. No one knows why Juliette’s touch is fatal. As long as she doesn’t hurt anyone else, no one really cares. The world is too busy crumbling to pieces to pay attention to a 17-year-old girl. Diseases are destroying the population, food is hard to find, birds don’t fly anymore, and the clouds are the wrong color.

The Reestablishment said their way was the only way to fix things, so they threw Juliette in a cell. Now so many people are dead that the survivors are whispering war – and The Reestablishment has changed its mind. Maybe Juliette is more than a tortured soul stuffed into a poisonous body. Maybe she’s exactly what they need right now.
